Paid apprentices earn up to $17-$25 per hour based on experience. Our company offers paid time off, health Insurance, paid phone plans, wrapped trucks, tools, and work clothing. When an apprentice learns the necessary skills to run a job they graduate to become a full time technician. Our full time technicians earn anywhere from $50,000- $85,000. If you have the skill to sell, our salesman have the ability to earn between $65,000-$120,000.

What You would Do:

Load trucks in preparation for the job site.
Perform quality and efficient installations. Utilizing tools and trainings provided to you.
Use safe methods when handling tools and equipment.
Leaves the customer’s home clean and proactively take measures to leave it in better condition than found.
Supports the management and mission of Frank’s Basement Systems.

What we need for this role:

Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred
Skill in operating equipment and/or power tools preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction and specific instructions.
Ability to learn, adapt and work with integrity
Must be able to lift or move up to 70 lb. occasionally, up to 50 lb. of force frequently, and up to 20 lb. of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to stay upright/stand up to 100% of the time.
Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces.
Ability to learn, adapt and work with integrity

City Fence –

Fence Installer: Foreman Position:

City Fence is currently recruiting for our foreman fence installer positions. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience as a fence installer.

We are located in Lancaster and work mostly in Erie County installing both residential and commercial fence. You will meet at our shop on Walden Ave. in the morning and drive to and from job sites in our truck.

Job Description: Our foreman installers must be able to perform quality installations of residential and commercial fence. Materials used include, stick built wood fence, bufftech, chain link and ornamental. Must be able to perform basic math functions and able to work with a team, as well as work alone.

Other key requirements include:

Must be able to read fine print on contracts, material lists and property surveys.
Must be able to hear within a range of 50 feet.
Must be able to work standing up for 8-10 hours in a given day.
Must be able to lift 80lbs without accommodation.
Must have mobility for frequent pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping.
Must be able to frequently squat down and reach above shoulder height.
Must be able to problem solve on the fly.
Must have a valid driving license

Fence Installer: Apprentice Position:

City Fence is currently recruiting for our apprentice fence installer positions. The ideal candidates will have some experience in construction and power tools. The goal will be to work towards being a foreman in the future.

Job Description: Our apprentice installers must be able to perform general labor duties outdoors, under varying weather conditions. Some of the duties include: mixing and hauling wet cement; hauling tools and materials to and from the work area; manually digging some post holes; cleaning out post holes that were dug with the dingo; keeping the work truck neat and clean, and assisting the foreman with various tasks. Must be able to perform basic math functions and able to work with a team, as well as work alone.
